 Adam
Cooper, MAPC, GMS is the Director and Lead Facilitator for Life Changes
Grief Management Center, a joint outreach of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral
Home and Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington, Georgia.
Adam is fourth generation in providing death care services to the
families of Newton, Rockdale, Walton, and surrounding counties and has
been involved with the business since the age of 13.
Adam has a BS in Agricultural Economics from the University of
Georgia, an MA is Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, and is
currently pursuing his Doctor of Psychology from Breyer State
University. Adam was
certified as a Grief Management Specialist through AGA in 2009 and has
been instrumental in building the Life Changes Grief Management Center
from the ground up. Adam
has been locally training facilitators and peer facilitators since 2010
and is in the process of developing his “Surviving Your Grief Program,”
a Christ-centered, eight-week curriculum for the newly bereaved.
